Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to the most common questions.

Q How do I use the site?

A You can browse with the menus on the left column which expand when there is more than one entry

Q Why is some writing blue?

A Everything in blue is a link either to other pages on Hotels.uk.net or elsewhere as described on that page.

Q Is this website secure for financial transactions?

A This website is not secure as no transactions take place on it. All bookings are through our reputable partners who are all established companies with secure websites and telephone call centres. When you are on our booking partners websites, the logos will change to show you who you are booking through.

Q Why should I use your website if you use other booking partners?

A We use a number of different booking partners, each with their own specialities and so we can offer you a wider choice of accommodation than any of them individually can offer you.

Online Bookings / Check Availability - means that the Hotel, Guest House or Self Catering Accommodation can be booked online with one of our booking partners, who are all established, reputable companies and clicking to check availability will transfer you to their secure booking websites.

Q Should I register

A It is important to register with Hotels.uk.net if you book a hotel through our website, so we can keep a record of who books through us. We currently mostly use Affiliates / Partners for our listings, who will deal with you directly and while we do our best to ensure everything is as it should be, should you have any problems, we would like to be in a position to help you if necessary.

We will soon be sending monthly email newsletters, so also register if you are interested in receiving those.

Q Do you have a brochure or brochures that you can send me?

A No we are not currently able to send out any brochures. As the website develops, you will not need any brochures, however if you require some in the short term, email us and we can point you in the right direction.

Q Is Hotels.uk.net owned by the Tourist Board or other official body?

A No, Hotels.uk.net is privately owned and has no links to any official organisation.
